Uniform
Practice:

A practice calendar will put in cheer folders at the beginning of each month. This calendar will tell the children what days to wear what color shirts and shorts.

Sorry, no sibling discounts will be given on any uniform.

Once selected to join the Texas Twisters, members are required to immediately purchase practice uniforms and accessories. The package price is $75.00 for the 2007/2008 season, and will include:

• 3 practice t-shirts
• 3 pair practice shorts
• Backpack with the Twister logo and athletes'' name embroidered

Additional Items to Purchase:

*** 2 to 3 sports bras (MUST be worn at all practices by all girls, except for Tiny Twisters Squad), practice cheer shoes (these may be purchased anywhere, as long as they are specifically for cheer), and white ankle or "no-show" socks.
*** Parents are required to purchase a pair of “practice”, cheer shoes. These shoes can be
found for under $20.00 at Wal-Mart and Payless. Practice shoes are to only be worn inside
the gym, and other shoes should be worn to and from The Club.

 
Competitions:

Squad members will also be required to purchase a competition uniform. This uniform should not be worn to practices. The total for this uniform will be approximately $300.00 and will include:

• Top
• Skirt
• Bloomers
• Hair Accessories
• Nike Shoes
• Make-Up
• Twister Custom Warm-up Jacket
• Twister Custom Warm-up pants


• A limited number of “gently-used” uniform pieces are usually available each year at discounted prices. Notice will be given when these pieces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Prices will be set by the program director.
• Competition uniform costs for male cheerleaders will be substantially less.
• Competition uniform sizing will be completed by June and all money will be due by July.
• In an effort to off-set the cost of competition uniforms, the Twister staff will work in conjunction with our uniform companies to provide parents and cheerleaders with fundraising options. You are NEVER obligated to participate in fundraisers.
• Typically, we will do our fundraising in June and/or July.
• Once The Club has placed the order for competition uniform pieces, there will be NO refunds given. Competition uniform pieces are custom-made and therefore not returnable.
• Buy-back programs are available for certain pieces of the competition uniform. It is the sole discretion of the program director to decide prices and whether or not the condition of the garment is good enough for trade in.
 
No discounts can be given on either uniform package for multiple children.
