The Club at New Territory developed the Texas Twister competitive cheerleading program during the summer of 2003. Tryouts are mandatory, and squad placement is by invitation only.

Texas Twister Cheer’s goal is to provide well-trained, quality coaches in the sport of all-star competitive cheerleading. Our current established programs and state-of-the-art equipment help to accomplish this vision.

The coaching staff, along with the program director, strives to provide area children, ages 3 through 12th grade, with the opportunity to develop cheerleading and tumbling skills in a safe and positive athletic environment.

As a competitive, athletic TEAM, Texas Twister Cheer requires commitment from the cheerleader as well as their family. Squad members have mandatory practices, exhibitions, fundraisers, and competitions throughout the year.

Through their selection and involvement, members of Texas Twister Cheer will likely develop skills that exceed that of cheerleading and tumbling alone. Physical skills can be taught, but the foundation of any athletic endeavor centers around the 3D’s: Dedication, Discipline & Determination. Trust, friendship and fun are also be the cornerstones of our program.
